I was once told that the energy you put out is the same energy you will receive. If you choose to surround yourself with negativity then negativity will become your reflection. If you choose to surround yourself with positive thoughts then positive outcomes will follow. We have the ability to choose which no matter how many excuses we choose to help justify our state of being. Pointing the finger of blame only get us so far and blinds us to how much we can achieve in reaching our full potential.
One thing I have come to understand in fighting my own demons is that those all-consuming, mind-numbing feelings of hopelessness and helplessness, of being worthless, of cold and darkness are all illusory. We have the power to take it back. We have the power and ability to be so much more than the labels people have placed on us. Be ever mindful of the fact that no one has as much power over you than you. You hold the key. TAKE IT BACK!!
