PrisonFriendship.com, L.L.C Terms of Service (“Agreement”).
Please read these Terms of Service completely before using PrisonFriendship.com, L.L.C, which is owned and operated by PrisonFriendship.com, L.L.C. This Agreement documents the legally binding terms and conditions attached to the use of the Site at PrisonFriendship.com, L.L.C.
You must be 18 years old or older to use, access, view or browse PrisonFriendship.com, L.L.C. By using or accessing the Site in any way, viewing or browsing the Site, or adding your own content to the Site, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service. You must be 18 years of age to use, visit or be a member of our PrisonFriendship.com, LLC, a private, registered company operating on the World Wide Web (i.e the Internet) via a website and social media. We do not accept applications for membership by anyone who is convicted and currently incarcerated of/for ANY crime against a minor, unless that individual was a minor when the conviction occurred. In those cases, our service will review the case(s) [if possible] and make a determination at our sole discretion.
By using or attempting to use PrisonFriendship.com OR by clicking the “Accept” or “Agree” button on the website OR by submitting a “hard copy” of our application on the brochure or by paper, and by signing your signature on the disclaimer… you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. By agreeing to our Terms of Service you acknowledge and accept that we are not liable for any disputes regarding the Terms of Service.
Submitting fraudulent information and/or not disclosing relevant information pertaining to your criminal conviction (i.e. if you are convicted and currently incarcerated for a crime against a minor) you are in violation of our Terms of Service. We reserve the right to amend or change these Terms or Service at any point or time.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Site and all of its original content are the sole property of PrisonFriendship.com, L.L.C and are, as such, fully protected by the appropriate international copyright and other intellectual property rights laws. We reserve the right to use any content (images, text, artwork, videos, etc…) of any member for promotion purposes on our social media channels during and/or after your profile has expired or been removed. All content including videos, images, poetry, blogs, etc… on our website and/or our social media are the exclusive property of PrisonFriendship.com. They can not be copied, redistributed or reproduced in any way without facing possible legal action. We market our platform extensively on social media and are in no way responsible for any comments made by the general public. We reserve the right to use our discretion in selecting which social media channels we promote our members.
TERMINATION
PrisonFriendship.com, L.L.C reserves the right to terminate your access to the Site, without any advance notice. Submitting fraudulent information is a violation of our TOS and can result in your profile being removed without notice. If a member wants to terminate his profile after it has been posted, we do not issue a refund for any reason whatsoever. When a profile has been posted we have met our obligations. Any member of PrisonFriendship.com found deliberately misleading someone for money, perpetrating fraud, scamming any individual(s), or violating any of the provisions of Title 18, US Code, Section 134 will be removed immediately from PrisonFriendship.com and subject to prosecution under the aforementioned Title 18, US Code, Section 134. However; If you or someone who sets up a profile for you decides that they want to terminate the profile before it has been posted we will issue a refund. Please allow up to 14 days for the processing of any refunds.
LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
Our Site does contain a number of links to other websites and online resources that are not owned or controlled by PrisonFriendship.com, L.L.C. PrisonFriendship.com, L.L.C has no control over, and therefore cannot assume responsibility for, the content or general practices of any of these third party sites and/or services. Therefore, we strongly advise you to read the entire terms and conditions and privacy policy of any site that you visit as a result of following a link that is posted on our site.
GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed in accordance with the laws of Ohio, United States.
CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
PrisonFriendship.com, L.L.C reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We do so by posting and drawing attention to the updated terms on the Site. Your decision to continue to visit and make use of the Site after such changes have been made constitutes your formal acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
Therefore, we ask that you check and review this Agreement for such changes on an occasional basis. Should you not agree to any provision of this Agreement or any changes we make to this Agreement, we ask and advise that you do not use or continue to access PrisonFriendship.com, L.L.C immediately.
