It’s often said: the tongue is as mighty as the sword. Well, why wouldn’t it be? After all the tongue brings to life the words our minds manifest. I believe a bit more than coincidence that by placing the letter “S” on either side of the word “word” gives the saying validity. Sword = Words. I’ve pondered if the person accredited with this saying intended for us to see the double entendre within it. “Mighty is the sword as it swings, it’s wielder bringing mercy and mayhem”. Your choice is a direct reflection on your core values. Will you use your words to build and inspire, or to demoralize and destroy? Now, I’m a lot of things, but a fool ain’t one. The timing of your words is crucial when faced with pivotal moments because there is a time to both build and destroy. Some things have to be destroyed to be rebuilt better than before. Although tedious, the rebuilding is always glorious. Which words will be used to tell your story?
