My name is Dedric Scott, I am 42 years of age, and I am currently in my 21st year of a mandatory 25 year prison sentence on 2nd degree murder. I am a fulltime college student at Ashland University, where I recently received my Associates Degree. I am now pursuing my Bachelor’s in Applied Communications, where I am also a double minor in Sociology, and Religious studies.
When I’m not in school, or working I’m either reading a book, or listening to music on my tablet. For the record, I’m pretty diverse in my music. I listen to everything from R and B to Rap, Soft Rock to Country, Gospel to Classical. And by Classical I’m speaking of the Mozart’s and the Tchaikovsky’s of the world (Please don’t judge).
I guess you can say I’m pretty well cultured. I am a huge fan of the late great Anthony Bourdain, and the TV program No Reservation’s. I just have this innate fascination with people of other cultures.
Furthermore I have been a practicing Muslim for about the last 16 years; and I go by the name of Benjamin Jihad. But despite my deen (way of life) I am extremely liberal, open-minded and accepting of others regardless of their religious preference.
My three loves in life are World Religion, Comic Book movies, and Anime. (Please don’t judge). If I had describe myself in 40 words or less, I would say fairly shy, free spirited, and good listener
