First, please call me Tony…
I chose to use this particular service for the blog, it fits aspirations of being a writer and social commentator. This is one thing I am truly passionate about and I’ve learned having passions makes life worth living, even from a place like this. I also have a love for writing poetry and short fiction, and I’m looking for inspiration everywhere; in the things I watch, the music I listen to, and even the people I interact with.
I love things with a good story; movies, music, and books. My tastes are various, as long as it’s something I can get lost in and escape; I don’t allow the confines of prison to cage me in. I find a way to the world.
Some of my other interests include: sports! I’m a big basketball and football fan. I exercise and have spent most of my incarceration as a mentor/teacher to my fellow prisoners. I’m a little introverted, though I push myself out of my comfort zone to do things I enjoy, but sometimes have to find solitude in order to recharge.
I am looking to find good friends, people who can help life be a little more meaningful; for me the personality of the individual is most important, if your interactions with me are engaging and enjoyable than I’m in. We can talk about anything, find unique ways of having life experiences and just enjoy each other’s company.
My life is being lived, I am not just waiting to live it, just because I am incarcerated doesn’t mean my life is stopped and that also means finding people to enjoy it with. What do you enjoy most? What is something you do just for you?
“There is always some madness in love. But there is always, also, method in madness.”
– Frederich Nietzsche
