I love dogs. My job at the prison is in the Dog Training Program I work for a company that breeds Labs to become mobility dogs. Which means they are service dogs for people of all ages in wheelchairs. I train them to retrieve items open doors push or pull the chair if necessary and a variety of other tasks. It’s so rewarding that I feel that when I’m released, I would like to work doing the same type of work or owning my own dog training business.

I have one younger brother and 2 nephews and my mom who support me in my dream to become a productive member of society when I’m released. I love to cook and also work in the prison kitchen making meals for inmates and I get the chance to make some different special items once in a while.

I would like a pen pal who loves dogs and the outdoors that could share with me the outdoor adventures they have been on. Biking, hiking and any water sports are interesting to me.
