I’m an entrepreneur at heart, and global finances interest me. But honestly, if we could go back to the barter system, I probably would. Lol.
My hobbies include tattooing, buying and fixing cars of all kinds, and then repairing and reselling them. I also enjoy camping and spending time in nature, whether that’s in the forest or by the ocean. I’m a strong swimmer and I love the water, but I hate spiders. Lol. I can ride a bike all day, either just for fun or as transportation.
I love my kids deeply, and if I could spoil them, I would. But I also believe they should understand the world and be prepared for situations where they have to work, provide a service, or earn the things they want. I want to spare them the shock of being thrown into the real world unprepared, so I try to create situations where they can learn skills that will help them throughout life.
I love helping people, even when it comes at the cost of my own comfort. There is no better feeling than getting something done for another person or helping fix a problem in someone’s life. I’m a fixer, a doer, a go-getter, and a seeker. I’m also a dreamer, and I love using my imagination.
I love music and festivals of all kinds. I believe music is one of mankind’s greatest accomplishments and one of the greatest gifts we have. I’m also a voracious reader. I love books and the accumulation of knowledge. I enjoy reading classics, even if some of the information is outdated, because I like understanding the minds of the people who wrote them.
I enjoy reading about Darwin’s theory of evolution by means of natural selection, the whole thing. Lol. I also love historically accurate fiction and learning about the lives of historical figures. Thomas Cromwell, King Henry, Cardinal Wolsey, Queen Isabella, and many others fascinate me. That is just a small cast of people I enjoy learning about.
I also love philosophy and have read a little about Socrates, Aristotle, and Plato, who are all connected in a way, while each of their ideas matured and evolved over time. I also enjoy going to homeless shelters and giving haircuts to those who are residentially challenged.
I am looking for a serious pen pal, and if something more comes from that, I am open to anything. I don’t want anyone to feel pressured into a relationship, but I would very much like to build a strong connection and create something lasting.
