“Time… And white walls
Have me thinking about ages of old…
Wishing I had One More opportunity
To watch my siblings grow…
To see their children born;
To witness them graduate from school;
My brothers getting married
Representing what I should’ve chosen to do.
Time’s evaporation’s explanation
Of how my life went…
Sometimes I feel as if
Only a few moments were well spent.
Perception gets distorted
When I focus on times of cold…
No direction as to where I want to go.
My footprints in the snow…
My family sees them and steps in.
I know I’ve changed my life but hopefully
My old ways don’t lead THEM to the Penn…
Deep off in this bid,
I have NO kids;
I can’t wait for just one more time;
For my Legacy’s application,
Through my children
To show that my past has died…
My birthdays have often seemed as a curse;
Now, they’ve turned the other cheek.
When I hit the streets
How many more birthdays will I have a chance to see?
Brand new mercies – Everyday
To show my God’s heart.
ONE MORE CHANCE
To snatch some souls from under Satan’s mark.
With the stains from an oppressed state.
ONE MORE TIME
To help unify the entire HUMAN RACE!
As I lay
Head to the clouds
Reminiscent of what I heard God say…
JUST ONE MORE TIME
Is what I need to elevate
Out this place…
JUST ONE MORE TIME…
