By Maurice Hawkins
Deep pressure as I make a stand,
envied by the ones who say were friends,
strong loyalty I hold within,
no matter the struggle never break or bend, other’s delusional traps can’t shake my mind, they want me caught up in space but not of this time, moving to a conscious state, seeking fate while others wait, where’s your mind state,
far from a gutter not stuck in a cloud,
longer than a river but stronger than the ground, there’s no limit to my vision,
prosperity is the aim while others chasing fame, goals has become an illusion to the one’s that’s claiming they’re sane, I’m struggling today for a better tomorrow, my hope is high, so my mind is tight.
