Through the socially constructed lens of society, especially the “American” one, the pigmentations in my skin would suggest that I am a Black and or an African American man.
But, if you were to peel back the thin layer of my melanin skin complexion, and go deeper than just the sight of my physical appearance and into one’s genetic makeup.
You would find that I am more than just Black, I am more than just African American.
I am a complex, diverse being, who’s flesh only matters to exist in the thought process of those living one dimensionally.
Elevate to a greater self, and a greater process of thought.
I am a Descendant, I am made up of the many who’ve come before me.
